Striker Moves to Bundesliga Giants After Impressive Season with Hertha BSC
Ramos Scored 16 Goals in 27 Appearances Last Term
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Colombia international Adrian Ramos from Hertha BSC, the club has announced. The 28-year-old striker, who will join the eight-time Bundesliga champions on a four-year deal, becomes Dortmund's third new signing of the summer following the arrivals of Ciro Immobile and Dong-Won Ji.
Ramos, who has scored 16 goals in 27 appearances for Hertha BSC last season, will add firepower to a Dortmund attack that struggled for consistency in 2013/14. The Colombian international has a proven track record in the Bundesliga, having scored 40 goals in 98 appearances for Hertha BSC since joining the club in 2010.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said: "We are delighted to have signed Adrian Ramos. He is a proven goalscorer with experience at the highest level. We believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad."
